Whether travelling by air or sea, getting to Victoria and Vancouver Island is scenic and easy.
By sea, Victoria is well connected to mainland British Columbia with BC Ferries who operate daily vehicle and passenger ferry service between Vancouver and Victoria. From Washington State, vehicle and passenger ferry service is available from Bellingham, Port Angeles and Anacortes. High-speed catamaran passenger only service operates between downtown Seattle and Victoria's Inner Harbour.
By air, Victoria International Airport is serviced by direct and connecting daily flights from cities throughout Canada and the United States. Harbour-to-harbour floatplane service, helicopter service and charter flights are also available.
Bus companies provide daily service between downtown Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport to Victoria.

Victoria is well-connected to mainland British Columbia and Washington State by vehicle and passenger ferries and high-speed catamarans. Each day, dozens of ferries cross the straits, granting breathtaking views of the rocky coastline, forested islands, inlets and often marine wildlife. Victoria's arrival points include the Inner Harbour, the Town of Sidney and the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal (30 minutes from downtown Victoria, near Sidney).

Frequent daily scheduled service is provided (passengers and all types of vehicles) between Tsawwassen (south of Vancouver) and Swartz Bay (north of Victoria), between Tsawwassen and Duke Point (south of Nanaimo) and between Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) and Departure Bay (Nanaimo). BC Ferries also serves the Gulf Islands and other ports in coastal BC. Buffet and/or full cafeteria service as well as other amenities are found on main-route ships.
