Victoria turned up the Pride this summer during Pride Week which ran from June 29th to July 6th, 2008. Victoria is full of life with fabulous events planned including the Pride Day Parade, the Big Gay Dog Walk and the Pride Festival. Attendance for last year's celebration was approximately 35,000 for the parade, 12,000 for the festival and 5,000 for various other Pride events. Come join the fun in Victoria all year round, and start planning your trip for the 2009 events where visitors travel far and wide each year to celebrate with the local community during this memorable event.
