Donna Rose Law | Artist In Residence
Free
For the month of January, Donna Rose Law is the Artist In Residence at the Fairmont Empress on the mezzanine level.
Donna gathers her inspiration from exploring Vancouver Island and the many gardens of Greater Victoria. Her love of nature began as a child living on the edge of a forest in Northwestern Ontario where her mother’s garden was a magical place, and the forest was her playground. After a career and raising her family, she studied fine arts at the University of Victoria and rediscovered the joy of painting.
Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
