Come join us for anΒ art classΒ at the beautifulΒ Carr House National Historic Site! This class is uniquely designed to bring together generations to connect through art-making. We encourage you to register with your child, a parent, a grandparent, a neighbour, or a friend! Or register individually to meet people in your community! In this session, we will be drawing inspiration from the legendary artistΒ Emily CarrΒ and focusing on creating cherry blossoms together. About the instructor
Helga Strauss is an artist, educator, and therapeutic arts practitioner. She is also a tree lover and writes a monthly column calledΒ Glorious Trees in our NeighborhoodΒ for the James Bay Beacon. In her personal art practice, she creates art every day, following her joy and curiosity. As a teacher for over 30 years, she encourages her students to do the same.
