In 2024, the Victoria Camera Club (VCC) proudly marks its 80th anniversary, celebrating eight decades of passion, creativity, and photographic mastery. Since its founding in 1944, the club has grown from a small group of dedicated black and-white film enthusiasts to one of the largest and most dynamic photography clubs in Canada.

To mark the occasion, the VCC is holding a free public exhibition of members’ juried work in the Bay Centre, lower level, September 5th to 29th. There will be over 100 prints displayed at the print show, plus a display of A Day in the Life of Victoria photographs shot by members on June 1, 2024. We invite you to visit the exhibition and experience the culmination of countless hours of effort, travel, and post-production by our photographer-artists. Each image in the show represents the dedication and passion of our members, capturing the beauty and creativity that define our art form.

The Exhibition will be open September 5th to 29th, Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 5:00pm

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
