Bastion Square Public Market

The Bastion Square Market runs 11am – 5pm every Thursday – Sunday (weather permitting) from late April to early October.

The market features local artisans every day, plus a selection of vintage and resellers on Sundays. Products are handmade locally and include art, jewellery, clothing, crafts, confections, and more.

There is a lunchtime music series with live music on market days, night markets on select dates, and workshops and special events throughout the season. Check out @bastionsquare.market on Instagram for details.

The market can be found in historic Bastion Square between Wharf Street and Langley Street. Bastion Square is located in the heart of downtown Victoria, between Government and Wharf Street and Fort and Yates Street.

Bastion Square was the site of Fort Victoria and the first Provincial Courthouse, and now houses a variety of local independent businesses, restaurants and cafes, alongside the market.
