Tanya Bub is an eco-artist who creates sculptures of wild animals and people from found wood and recycled materials. A signature feature of her work is making inanimate objects appear to be so alive that is it almost impossible to resist the feeling that there is a living being present. Her work is whimsical and highly relatable, evoking joy and often laughter, even in those not necessarily moved by conventional artwork.
She has displayed sculptures in venues around Canada and Internationally and enjoys taking on private commissions. Her work can also be found at the Gage Gallery in Bastion Square.
